Geotalon sustainability initiative across Niger Delta Forest regions is aimed to achieve the followings (Figure 3-5):

• Carry out environmental rehabilitation of all polluted ecosystem regions of the Niger Delta through afforestation using native and optimal flora species
• Rehabilitate and Expand swamp regions affected by lumbering and other deforestation activities
• Use forest regions near oil fields to Provide Forest Carbon Offset service to operators in collaboration with Ministry of Environment and State Governments
• Collaborate with educational institutions in the forest catchment regions to achieve community-based sustainability support for optimal afforestation
